Acleva Tours Terms & Conditions
Please take a moment to read and understand our terms and conditions. Confirming a safari with Acleva Tours means you have read and agreed to the information below.
- Booking and Confirmation
To confirm a reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost per person is required together with full payment for gorilla or chimpanzee tracking permits.
- Remaining balance is due 6 weeks before departure.
- Bookings made within 60 days require full payment.
- Failure to pay may result in automatic cancellation.
- Passport name, nationality and passport number are required.
- Prices
Our safari prices include:
- Accommodation
- Meals as specified
- Park entrance fees
- Airport transfers
- Ground transportation
- English speaking guide
- Bottled water in vehicle
Prices do NOT include:
- International flights
- Visa and passport fees
- Travel insurance
- Laundry & personal expenses
- Tips & gratuities
Prices may change due to exchange rate fluctuations or increased tour costs.
- Changes to Your Booking
- Changes must be requested in writing.
- Changes within 42 days may attract cancellation fees.
- An administrative fee of $70 may apply.
- We may adjust itineraries due to weather, park closures or safety issues.
- Cancellation & Refunds

Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are non-refundable except in verified illness cases.
- Tour Execution
- Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
- Please follow ranger and guide instructions.
- Activities like gorilla trekking may take longer than expected.
- No refunds for missed activities due to delays.
- Liability
- We are not responsible for lost baggage or personal belongings.
- Travelers must ensure they have valid travel documents.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
- We are not liable for events beyond our control (force majeure).
- Photography
Acleva Tours may use images or videos taken during tours for promotional purposes unless clients request otherwise.
- Client Acknowledgement
Payment of a deposit confirms that the traveler has read and accepted these Terms & Conditions including cancellation policies and limitations of liability.
